As a System Architect you are responsible for designing and implementing the architecture of complex systems and solutions within our organization and outside our organization. You play a crucial role in relevant technical requirements, conceptualizing system architectures and guiding the development team to realize this architecture. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams of engineers and other stakeholders to create innovative solutions that meet the demands of our customers and the industry.

Your expertise and vision on system architecture will play an important role in achieving our ambitious goals in terms of product quality, performance and reliability.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and document technical requirements and architectural principles for complex systems and solutions
  • Developing system architectures and making design decisions based on functional, performance and reliability requirements
  • Lead technical reviews and discussions to validate the system architecture and build consensus within the development team
  • Identifying and managing technical risks and dependencies, and taking preventive measures to mitigate them
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams and stakeholders to facilitate system integration and resolve technical challenges Drafting technical documentation, such as architecture documents, design decisions and interface specifications.

Requirements:

  • A completed technical education at university level, preferably in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science or a related field
  • Demonstrable experience with system architecture in the high-tech industry, preferably with complex embedded systems or software-driven solutions
  • In-depth knowledge of system design methodologies, principles, and tools, such as Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), SysML, UML, and architectural modeling tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conceptualize and solve complex technical problems
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
  • Proactive attitude and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
